         DIVAS 3
      April 2, 2023

A celebration of the biggest hits by the greatest DIVAS in pop music history!

Three female singers with powerhouse voices sing the biggest hits of the greatest divas in music history in this vibrant show. Spanning four decades of chart-topping hits, Divas3 covers the 1960s through the 1990s with music by Aretha Franklin, Carole King, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher, Dolly Parton, Donna Summer, ABBA, and many more! Individual members of the group are known best for their starring roles in shows on the Las Vegas Strip and from TV’s “American Idol” (semi-finalist); as a group, Divas3 has headlined resorts and casinos throughout their hometown of Las Vegas, performing arts centers across the United States, and luxury cruise ships worldwide.

An enticing mix of pure class, personality, and “goosebump-inducing vocals,” Divas3 successfully finds the balance of honoring the iconic hits of the great pop divas without impersonation. Their exceptional vocal arrangements are highlighted by various accompaniment options, including full band (up to eight pieces), midsize rhythm combo, or professionally recorded studio tracks.  Three voices ... four decades ... ALL DIVA: it’s Divas3!

River City Brass Band
        September 18, 2022

LCCCA is proud to present River City Brass, America’s favorite brass band.  Founded in 1981 by the late Robert Bernat (conductor and music director 1981-1994), the RCB was the first professional concert band to be established in the United States in over 25 years.
Today, after 2 years of virtual concerts River City Brass returns to a live concert series primarily in Western Pennsylvania. In addition, the 28-piece ensemble tours extensively throughout the United States with more than 40 performances each year as part of community concert series, major symphony pops series, and arts festivals. From California to New York (as well as everywhere in between), River City Brass has delighted audiences with its signature style. Every performance features both superb soloists and some lighthearted fun! Often called the “Boston Pops — In Brass,” the band’s extensive repertoire includes American tunes, Big Band swing and jazz, music from Broadway and Hollywood, classical and contemporary masterworks, and — of course — traditional marches.

  • Special note:  Cost of the River City Brass programs was underwritten by the Honorable  Joel R. Schrack in loving memory of his wife, Nancy J. Schrack.

Take Me Home

The Music of John Denver

April 30, 2023

Take Me Home: The Music of John Denver as presented by Jim Curry was scheduled to conclude our 86th Concert Season... but COVID forced us to postpone Jim's live appearance in Lebanon.  But we are thrilled to announce that Jim is able to be with us and close-out the 2022-23 Season.

Jim sings, in his own natural voice, a tribute to the music in a way that has to be seen and heard to understand the pure honesty of his amazing performance. His looks and his voice are simply a pleasant coincidence that captures the true essence of John Denver’s music. Curry’s heartfelt delivery rolls out multi-platinum hits like Rocky Mountain High, Annie’s Song, and Calypso that fill the room with countless memories of days gone by.

To compliment the performance visually, slides and video are played in sync with each song. Some of the video is the original video John Denver used in his own shows. Jim believes that John Denver’s words still ring true in these difficult times of turmoil and environmental crisis. John Denver grew rapidly into a mega celebrity when the world was looking for some hope in the late 60’s and his lyrics in songs like, Take me Home Country Roads, gave America a new lift abroad as well as at home.

People all over the world found pride in the natural wonders of the earth and love for John’s message of caring for our planet and each other. Jim delivers these songs in the same spirit, with the same heartfelt care and desire to make a difference. He produces many tribute experiences and is considered the top performer of John Denver’s music today and is the first and only full-length John Denver tribute in a Las Vegas Casino. The  show has been seen in Performing Arts Centers and Casinos in the US and Canada and is one of the most popular shows on the Holland America Cruise Line.
